Hi, I am so awesome. I'm learning how to make a blog. Here's the race I did last July-- a Half Ironman Triathlon. I think I'm a stud. This is my support crew, Eddy Torriente.

I love food and trying new and exotic flavors. I was raised by lovely parents with limited resources, my mom's idea or cooking was microwaving something from the Schwann man or a pot of pinto beans. My dad always had a flair for health, jumping on the latest health supplement band wagon and blending broccoli into our pancake batter.
I picked up my own ideas about health as I grew up. My sister (who is 14 months older) took a nutrition class in Jr. High. My mom told me later that she hoped I would do the same thing because she was worried about my eating habits. Muffins, orange soda, Flamin' Hot Cheetos and Lunchables were my idea of food. My sister started taking V8, whole grain crackers and "real food" to school for lunch and I started getting the idea.
After giving up soda for good on a challenge with 2 friends when I was 14, I gave up fast food nearly entirely when I was 15 because I realized I felt like crap when I ate it. I had always been high energy and active, playing soccer, then dancing throughout high school. Once I
